My introduction to sound healing was through ceremonial work in Peru, based in the mestizo tradition (specifically the upper Amazonian/Ukayali River Basin). The songs I learned were truly a form medicine, as valuable as any other medicine you have found to be useful. 

I began to learn new instruments and songs called Icaros - medicine songs that were essentially taught to people by plants for thousands of years. These songs have been sung, and shared, for healing purposes for a very long time. They carry potent information that has traveled through time and space. 

My first sound healing was nothing more than a woman playing a drum. For the first time in many years, I was able to profoundly explore my inner self – my psyche, subconscious, and imagination.

A whole new world opened up when I began training at Sage Academy of Sound Energy and Healing in Woodstock, NY. Alongside this certification were trainings in reiki and bodywork, (specifically tendon and ligament work) in Thailand, Spain, and New York. In 2018, I was initiated as a Granicero in the Nahua tradition of Central Mexico, a sacred commitment that continues to shape my practice and my relationship with nature’s elements and forces.

Now, I help others reconnect with their own inner guidance, finding alignment, clarity, and healing through sound and energy work. My journey has shown me that we all have the power to heal—we just need to remember how to listen.
